Legal Intern: Entertainment Merchandising

Mainfactor is an e-commerce-as-a-service company that builds, markets, and operates direct-to-consumer businesses with creators, artists, and brands. Mainfactor is backed by world-leading e-commerce and media investors, including Upper90.

Mainfactor is looking for an experienced Legal intern to join our talented team at our fast-growing, venture-backed, e-commerce company. In this role, you will have opportunities to assist our executives with working on e-commerce, merchandising, and service agreements, investor agreements and documentation, piracy control, and legal documentation while working collaboratively with the Mainfactor leadership team. 

We are seeking a legal intern who thrives in the dynamic environment of early-stage growth, and is ready to learn how to combine exceptional strategic thinking, superior communication, project management and quantitative skills.

This is a part-time paid internship, 10-20 hours per week.

Who You Are:

  • You are a current or recently graduated legal student who has completed at least the first year of law school 
  • You have strong planning, and organization skills, including ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • You are an excellent writer
  • You have strong analytical skills
  • You are a strong collaborator
  • You have an outstanding attention to detail and are comfortable adjusting your approach to work within a project timeline, if necessary
  • You take responsibility for the quality of work that you deliver
  • You are genuinely passionate about people and their professional and personal development

What You’ll Be Doing: 

  • Helping to draft and review agreements with clients, vendors, investors, and other third parties
  • Helping to draft and review terms and conditions, privacy policies, and regulatory policies
  • Working with our outside world-renowned law firm as necessary to finalize documentation as necessary
